Thanks....I didnt build this car to please judges or anything like that. Yeah maybe it is different...or a little overboard......but this is gonna be my summer cruizer and thats why i started this project for me......just really enjoyed sharing the progress with everyone on the ORG.

I really do appreciate all of the kind words that everyone has for me and what has been done to this car. I really had alot of fun on this project and alot of pains . But in the end it will all be worth it to me.

hey i have one question for you!

How did you man not to have that rear wheel roll towards the front of the car like most cars do when they have air ride?

<img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/9/web/705000-705999/705557_588_full.jpg">
like the wheel looks to be in the rear wheel well perfectly?
did you do something custom to the rear cross bar?

i hate it when ppl make show cars and have the paintjobs like wild flames or arches or spikes or wutever... its so hard to pull off a decent look w/o being cheesy

this one solid VERY CUSTOM color would floor me at a show...

VERY nice work

but wut about the hood.. did i miss something??

Lets start with the rear wheels.....just didnt put it down all of the way.

The Hood.....will be painted tomorrow. He didnt want to spray it on the car because of dust reasons. He is going to put it in the booth along with the mirrors and spray them at the same time too.

The interrior.....I started to put that back together last night. I will have some more pics later this evening of the build up to being complete.

I will have the big brake kit tomorrow...I hope...and that should be on sometime through the day. Tuesday morning Im going to get it on the hoist and install the exaust.....then its ready for a test drive. Lots left to do and no time to do it.

And to top it all off.......we have to help raven get his engine back together in time for thursday to go to the jco bash

Which leads to the next answer Yes i will be at the JCO bash.

Just one question: is he not afraid of the paint looking a little different from painting it at different times? I've never painted with that paint before, but in my experience with painting in general, particularly with metallic paint, I have found that no matter what you do, it is never 100% the same. Simple temperature and humidity changes affect it. I'm sure the guy knows what he's doing, but I had to ask.

Also, are you painting the underside of the hood black to match the engine bay, or body color?

The car looks smokin' so far. Honestly, I've been watching this since you first posted, and you started to lose me a little with all the mods to the front end, but the final result is killer. You had the vision, and it worked. The rims do go good with it, as well. Nice choice.

I am soooooo jealous how quickly you were able to put this thing together! Recent financial issues and work demands (six days a week sucks!) have pushed back my paint for a couple of months, so my car is sitting in the garage stripped down waiting for the booth.

The hood will not be an issue....he sprays in a controlled booth so results will be the same....besides you never know what color the car is gonna be at any given second anyway....lol. And yes the underside of the hood is black, underside of the trunk lid is also black, and the under side of the doors....the door jams are body color... that will not be done to my liking before the bash....but im not going to let menial things let me miss this bash. I have been looking forward to it for a long time now.

Thanks for following the progress on the thread.

I think I posted once but have watched and admired the dedication and work put into that car. The wheels, paint and kit are top notch. A job well done.
