the plan this afternoon is to get everything sitting right. then from there we are looking into support for everything then onto the glassing... i will post up tonight when we are done...

well i am slacking. no photos for tonight. me and dave got alot of work done last night tho. did some measurements, and so far there is no clearance issues, and the bezel will only sit about 3 inches or less above the peice that goes against the winsheild. you figure an inch and a half to two inches for the wipers, thats not much higher, so your not loosing much. so i went through and banged out a bunch of support for the cluster, we shortened the part of the bezel for the cluster. this afternoon i picked up my ho manifold from the powder coater, and holly @!#$. i about came. that will be going on as soon as i have an intake to chop up. but in the meantime, i will be wiring in my new compressor

i have gotten alittle further, but then the manifold became the priority along with crystal cavs stereo both for freak show. i am planning on jumping back on the dash, probly this weekend. i will update as soon as i get some

well i still havnt been able to pull some time to get this done up till tommarow. i got some plans to tear into it as soon as i get home, daves prob gonna come over to assist. i will get some updated pictures tommarow.

I like it so far! Very interesting to say the least.

Looking kind of interesting, although I agree with Jason that the cluster seems to high.

Just out of curiosity, are you glassing the cluster right into place, or are you mounting it somehow? I would think that you could cut some of the factory mount out and attach that where the new location is, then class the dash over it so it fit as a cover, but you'd still be able to remove the cluster just like the factory.

I love watching crazy glassing projects, even if it's not my taste. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

well here we go guys, we took the frame out of the car, and mounted it to the dash to ensure that everything will fit like it was in the car, and avoided glassing in the rain and cold.









here is a shot to sort of show that its not sitting as high as everyone thinks. the angle is kinda funky, and i cant guarenty its perfect, but its close.

ight guys, i still gotta clean everything up, that was just thrown on to dry and give me a shape to work with to make everything strong. but give me some imput!!!!

well scratch that, we can all see how focused i was that night. its a bottle of everclear.

well no pictures tonight, but as an update, i got some more work done on the dash, cut off all of the mess from throwing all of that on the other night, and then the rest of the day was spend tearing down the parts car, getting that ready to leave monday morning. gotta take down a few trees tommarow morning, but after, assuming i still have some daylight left(for the warmth) i will be jumping on the dash tommarow again.

yeah, between class everyday, working full time, and it being not warm enough, i have been a slack ass. but last time i checked a propane heater + fiberglass fumes = boom.....

At least you are taking a LOT of pictures with all your free time.

well all those times we took pictures, it wasnt warm..... and its only really been 2 times now....

eh, i am just waiting for warm weather, when that happens steadily, i can go head and get alot of work done. due to being done with class at 12, and not having to be at work till 4 when i am working after, otherwise i have the whole day off. but for example its 30 effin degrees out right now. when it was 70 yesterday....

Psssh.... It's only been about 20 here in NY and I put an exhaust and hacked my shifter in the past 2 days....
