Yes, it will be an issue; the 2000-2002 2200s came with the F23 Getrag. The 95-99 2.2/2200s came with an Isuzu and are generally weaker than the Getrags. The bellhousings are the same, but the mounts are different. It would not make sense to modify your car to put in an inferior transmission.
Just keep looking for a 2000-20002 2200 transmission.
talked to the guy and it was from a 2.4. so i guess its out of the queston

Theres a guy in the third gen forum where this is also posted that says the isuzu is stronger then the getrags and thats what i told him was that the getrags were stronger, thats what i thought since i know there is a forum to swap the getrag into pre 00 cavalier and they are more reliable

The early Isuzus (1990-94) are pretty strong. Waaaay stronger then the 95-99's. I still think the F23 is stronger though.
