Long story short, I killed the 5 speed tranny in my 98 Z24. Talked to Vollman Ford and they said they found a ' z24 5 speed with 70k on it. I spent 600 bucks on it, with warranty. My mechanic (total flunky) said it wasnt what I needed so he found me a tranny for my car. I got pissed at the car and traded it in and bought a grand prix gt. Now I am left with this transmission. Vollman Ford wont take it back since their warranty covered it if it broke, and since I couldnt get it in my car its not broke. Very frustrating. Can anyone tell me what the hell this thing is? I know its a manual fwd tranny. Is this what the 2.3 or 2.4 looks like? I really want a playstation 3 so im motivated to get rid of this thing. Cleaned it up a little. Thanks
