Saab's (or any of the Ecotec J's, for that matter) don't use an EGR valve. That is an EGR port cast into the cylinder head. It is basically just a blind hole. There should be no problems.

I was thinking it was something like that. The other manifolds I have seen were 10 bolts tho

easiest way to tell if its right is the turbo flange...got a pic of that?

By the looks of it thats the wrong manifold.

all saab exhaust manifolds do that do they not the EGR port is unused one L61 and not on the saab head at all i believe

and bot T and t turbos bolt onto the same exhaust manifold

its from a 2004 saab 9-3 aero high pressure turbo. its the right manifold. no problems.
