Hello. I just found this site while looking up some info on my car. 1884 Pontiac Sunbird LE Convertable with the 1.8 Turbo. The wastegate is missing, and I'm kinda wondering about getting a new gate, or perhaps turbo and all.

What turbo is used on this engine? I know a few things about mechanics, but I know very little about Turbos. So a little education on it would be great.

I'd also like to know any other information that is relevant to my motor/car, as it seems hard to come by.

Sorry to laugh but 1884? I know you mean 1984, I did't know they put a turbo in that model year but they sure did. Thanks Wikipedia. Somebody on here should know more about it though. Very interesting.
