So installed the 3.0 pulley and intercooler set up yesterday. And now I'm getting a p0107 map sensor low voltage code. It did this before I even drove the car. Any ideas????????????
Only other thing i did was replace a intake manifold stud that broke when I was installing the kit. So now the manifold is completely sealed
ANYONE? I just wanna get the car fixed.

Other thing is I cleared the light last night then drove it 20 miles just fine no issues. Then it started again.
check the connections of the map sensor. i think i had this when i installed my charger. my map sensor connection was just twisted together so i solider it together and the code never came back
Check your wiring for the Tmap and iat.
Checked all the pins on the side of the road earlier thinking maybe when I repinned them one may have come loose. All looked good.
05extreme: Where at were they just twisted together?
well i bought mine used so the guy before me cut the tmap. so i had to twist the wires together for the map and iat for the tmap. code came up so i rechecked the wireing and solider it and the code went away.
Is it possible that the map sensor itself could just be faulty?

2009 Ford Mustang V6
let me read. anyone correct me if im wrong. book say location A orange/black(map) to light brown(iat), location B light green(map) to black(iat), then location C the gray from the map is by itself.
Just went and checked the adapter harness. The only wire thats spliced is the orange wire and that looks to be good.
I've thought that maybe the map sensor is bad, but thats just weird that it died(if it did). All I did was remove and reinstall the charger.

try using a friends map sensor see if the cel come on with that

8 psi with m62 and IAT under 100
^^ If I knew anyone else who had one thats exactly whatI would do. Not a very big following around here for cav's
Well the general idea from the SS forums is a boost leak like I was thinking. So i'm gonna try resealing the charger to intake gasket tonight.
That code came up in my 96 Eco swapped car, and the problem in my case was a wire got crimped and separated a little in the harness, so maybe one of your wires are getting smashed together somewhere.
Sounds like a wiring problem to me. Could have pinched something when you bolted it back down, or jarred a connection loose. And yes, it could in fact be the MAP itself, they can and do fail.

I'm gonna double check that I didnt pinch any wires tonight. I checked that the harnesses moved ok after install but might have pinched it lower. I checked all the connectors themselves last night and all looked good. Also gonna pull the map and makes sure its clean. Thanks for all the ideas everyone
If you have a DVOM, use that to check connections. Just because it "looks" ok doesn't mean it is.

Just put one in my bag

Gonna check for continuity in the harness for the IAT and MAP
Ok so. I checked all the connections and did continuity checks on all the wires, all check good. I then resealed the charger to the intake manifold. Started the car and it died about ten seconds later. So basically its still doing the same things. I'm COMPLETELY lost at this point. Gonna try getting a new map sensor tomorrow. Only thing is does anyone know if its the same as the cobalt uses? I looked in the install instructions and theres no part # for it.
One more thing. The MAP sensor had fuel on it. Wondering if I have a injector issue and the more air is causing the issue to appear. There stock SS injectors with 40k
did you have to splice the wires or were they a direct plug in? talking about injectors...
Veritas Aequitas
Direct replacement for the 02 rail.
Ok so we went back through and respread all the connectors for the map and iat sensors. Cars runs great now. Only thing now is I have a p0113 code. IAT sensor high voltage. Basically it mean the incoming air is to cold. Guess the coolers working LOL
Unless the air gets to less than -40 F you still have a wiring issue.
Using the DVOM what is the voltage at each wire for both sensors? Use the sensor ground.

Listen F***ers. FASTERTHANAHONDA is a joke because I WORK FOR HONDA. I'll talk @!#$ about Fords to, that doesn't mean I can beat a 12 second mustang.
