Wow, newbie-ish.

Yes, those are typical boost numbers. The MP62 on the Ecotec engine is a bigger supercharger, and the pulley is sized to spin it such that it makes 8-10 PSI... obviously ..

I never ran the stock 2.8 pulley, started with a 2.7 cause I got my kit used. Im on the 2.6 pulley and alchy now, I think my sc is worn out and may need to be rebuilt or atleast the actuator. Im holding off a bit to hear if anything happens with the m62 project.

2.7 pulley: 5-6 psi, 7 in cooler weather
2.6 pulley and alchy- constant 7psi, 8-10 in cooler weather

When I went from the 2.7 to a 2.6 pulley, I jumped from 5psi to 8 without alchy even in 90 degree weather.

I wouldn't count on boost gauge readings. Out of the box, even the costly brands can be off a couple pounds.
