fuel pump problem
Tuesday, August 12, 2008 2:01 PM
I was installing my 225 Walbro fuel pump, in the process noticed that the oem fuel pump has a small gold in colorconnection with a small plastic hose connected to it. My new pump didnt come with one of these gold connections. Any ideas on what to do. and what that piece is for. Thanks for any help.

if you dont put one in (not sure who you do it but i remember seeing a post about it) you will get fuel cut of at around 1/4 and some people are even seeing fuel cut at 1/2 tank .. thats pretty well the only reason i went with a Racetronix fuel pump for the 99-02 Fbodies because they had that fitting.
