Some cars "behave better" tuning wise when the excess boost is kept in the system, rather than dumped to open atmosphere. The two different models here are basically an offering for each type of car.

depends on how you set up fueling.

most jbodies can vent to atmo no prob because we don't have MAF sensor or air flow meters.

but that still doesn't solve the fueling issues for a turbocharged car. I'd suggest the OP read up in the tuning forum
