Ok guys, im just looking for a straight up answer here. The engine is as follows: weisco 8.9:1 .020 over pistons, eagle rods, stock crank, factory bearing (new), p&p head, comp cams turbo grind. How much boost do you think this engine could hold successfully? it'll be the hahn stage two kit. might upgrade to a 20g tho. let me know what you think.

I ran 17PSI on a fully stock motor and am about to run over 25PSI through a motor with an almost identical build but with a GT35R turbo. Whether your as crazy as me or not I don't know but your big limiter is gonna be what your using to tune with.

Good luck. Hope you got some good tires, axles, and ignition parts. Your gonna need them to make use of 20PSI.

I run what I think is 23.21 psi on a forged 10:1 bottom end. The gate is a tial f38 w/ 1.6bar spring in it, but due to improperly funtioning boost gauge I've no clue how much boost I'm actually running.

I run 23 all the time, 10:1 compression. I hope you have dual valve springs in mind...you'll need them.

i ran 20 psi once on my stock motor at the bash last year and it was a monster lol until it started spitting and sputtering. cant wait to get my new build done tho, gonna be insane. me and hypsy will be throwing out some insane numbers. i cant wait to see what my t67 will do on a fully built, sleeved and o-ringed eco and fully built lsj head modeled after the 1400hp eco head
What's really crazy is there are 3 members of the new racing division of Team Vision Racing in this single post. 2 of us have proven ourselves crazy and the third wants in on the act....but the 3rd has the most power to change things currently LOL.
Of course the 3rd needs to get out of the damn sandbox before he can do anything

We've got 4 guaranteed 12 second or better cars for the 2009 Bash. We just need one more to fulfill my goal of at least 5 there courtesy of Team Vision Racing.
