Did you just buy them through the dealership or go through a performance website or shop???

crateenginedepot.com
paceperformance.com

Or dealership if you like paying $1,000 more for nothing.

I went through the dealership, but that's because they gave me cost+$100, I think paceparts.com and crateenginedepot.com are where most people on here buy them.

We you get it through pace does it already come with the upgraded computer so all you have to do is do the install?

When*

No it doesn't, no matter who you get it through, even a local dealer. The reflash is included in the price of installation when done by a dealer. If you install it yourself it will cost you one hours labor for the reflash on top of the price of the SC.

Yeah it doesn't come with "an upgraded computer," the dealership reprograms your existing one.

I got mine fom the local dealer parts department. I installed it and they "reluctantly" reflashed mine for no charge. They hate that

I installed my own and the dealership charged me $99 for a flash. The crappy part was that I left in the 1 Bar to drive it to them and told them to let me know when they were ready and I would give them the 2 Bar (didn't want it mishandled) so they could run it......Next thing I knew my Cav is fired up and cruising down the street sounding like crap without the 2 Bar because they didn't listen to me!

Yeah, that's where i've heard to buy them from so far. It just sucks that when it first came out the GMSC only cost $2500, not it's freaking 3 grand!

Haha, I nearly did actually. They were doing an initial data-log of everything...No harm done however.
