GM S/C ina 99 Z24...Swap Computer with a reflashed '00 computer without rewiring and see what happens...Wat You think? Hopefully it all works...

i saw someone who did it with an automatic...the only issues they had was that some lights didnt work, parts of the cluter didnt work but the rest worked fine....

Th issue is they are completly differnt...read the pre 2k skicky up at the top of the page..hpt ftw!
It will work........ BUT you would want to swap the whole wiring harness and bcm from a 00+ z24
It WILL work. I personally have this done to my car. Everything works perfectly except about 3/4 of you dash gauges. Tach will not work, and most of the warning lights will be on. If you can deal with that, the computer will work fine. The most important gauges like speedo and gas gauge do still work.
