I know how to do most of it but the oil lines and stuff i dont know how.. all i want to do is run between 6-12 psi nothing major just to boost me up a little bit.. I have a JDM turbo setup with a boost controller dont know how to hook up the controller either.. Someone told be form cardomain to come on here and they dhould let me know how... would i need bigger injectors or anything right now i have a stock engine. the main reasone is i want to show people that i can do somthing with my car.... but witht he turbo please anyone with time or who is willing to help please let me know thanks... Pics in the instructions. would be cool or a link for it.
first off, what the hell is a JDM turbo setup?
who did you get the kit from?
what parts are included in the kit?
what do you plan on doing for fuel management/tuning?
it's clear that you have no idea how a turbo setup works, so you might want to take a few minutes and read some of the FAQs at the top of this forum to get some basic knowledge.
answer those questions so that we can help you out
here is the details. the intercooler is JDM sorry.
Kit includes:
• 8x Universal piping: 2.5 inch diameters, customizable angles, lightweight design, and color maybe vary.
• 1x JDM sport Intercooler: tube and fin design, 31x11.5x3 inch cord size. 3inch in/outlet diameter, handles up to 30psi/500hp.
• 1x JDM sport T3/T4 Hybrid turbo w/ random filter: brand new built with 3inch diameter inlet, 2inch outlet, .50 A/R compressor, .63 A/R turbine .57 trim, and oil cooling system. 50+whp gain.
• 1x Stainless steel turbo manifold: Higher Resistance to Heat, Made to fit B16/B18 Series Engines, Bolt on Manifold. Fits with t3/t4 hybrid turbo and 35mm/38mm wastegates. Professional Installation Highly Recommended.
• 1x Turbo Downpipe: JDM advanced technology constructed. 2.75 inch diameter inlet /outlet. Direct connection with 5 bolt design to t3/t4 turbo. Gasket and hardware are not available at this time.
• 1x JDM Type RS style Blow off valve w/ bov adapter piping: Quick response with high capacity Up To 1200HP or 25 PSI of Boost Pressure. Professional Installation Suggested. Aggressive blow off sound comes with bolt flange and hardware. Adapter piping can be bolt on or weld on, easy installation.
• 1x 38mm tail style wastegate w/ hardware: wastegate body and valve are investment cast from 253MA Stainless Steel (ASTM S30815).It intended to withstand high temperature and flow capability. With Turbo Boost Controller you will able to Adjust Spring rate from 1-30 Psi w/o Change Springs.
• 1x Turbo Boost Controller: in order avoid replacing wastegate springs, which only give a fixed increase, which is not adjustable, a boost controller will be the most cost effective solution. Allows adjustable boost psi settings, light weight design to be mount under the hood. Hardware is included.
• 1x JDM Oil Feed Line: designed to limits oil flow, prevent blown oil seal. 36 inch long with 3/8 diameter stainless steel line, hardware and gasket is included w/ 1/8 inch fittings for the engine.
• X8 Silicon sealing couplers & x12 T-bolt clamps: 2.75 inch diameter couplers (color maybe vary) with flexible steel T-bolt clamps for better and stronger holdings to prevent leaking.

Made to fit B16/B18 Series Engines? Is this some cheap ebay crap turbo kit for a honda? Sounds like you've got a lot of no-name ebay knockoff parts. Your best bet would be to sell that crap and purchase some quality parts to start with. You're gonna have to take those universal charge pipes and mod them to fit your car, you're gonna have to find a turbo manifold for the ecotec motor, you're gonna have to fab up a downpipe, you're going to need oil lines (the ones in the kit are probably junk), you'll need some sort of fuel management ie FMU or get someone to tune your car with HPTuners. There's a ton more of things after that, most of which can be figured out after you read the FAQs. Hopefully you didn't pay a whole lot of money for that pile of junk.
havent paid for it yet... just seeing if it is a good idea.. any other turbo kits not going to cost 3 grand.. for nothing... im not going to pay for sumthing i will not use full potential.. any suggestions.
youre better off paying for a complete turbo kit. seems like you dont have that much knowledge on turbocharging and youre going to run into all kinds of problems you wont even know how to deal with.
i pieced together my own custom turbocharger because there arent any currently on the market for a z24. hahn has a great kit for you tho,... my advice get it
as far as your original questions,... anything over 5-6psi you'll NEED injectors to run properly
oil feed line routes off of your oil sending unit (its called something like that i dont remember exactly)
oil return line you SHOULD tap your oil pan at the highest position on it you can so it drains properly, or you can do a little custom work and have it run back in at the base of your dipstick (thats how i did it on my z24)
hptuners/gm supercharge reflash/ other engine management would be needed
and get a smaller intercooler. youre not going to have anywhere near 500hp and its gonna hang prolly about 4 inches below your bumper if not more assuming you can get it to fit at all.

there arent full instructions but you can get the point.

Eat my shift
Get these three things first.
First you need a turbo exhaust manifold. thats how you get exhaust gasses to spin your turbo(they are different depending on your engine and the size of turbo you want).
Seccond you need a turbo that mates up to the manifold you just got(this is difficult to choose since you want the best turbo that is the most efficent at the boost range you are looking to run).
Third is fuel. The more fuel you can pour in your engine the less likley you are to send a piston through your block..
Get larger injectors and hp tunners!!! Do not just use a fmu or a fpr.
then their is the intercooler and the piping and the blow off valve and the oil lines and the couplers and the clamps.
horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, Torque is how far you push the wall with you
NEVER buy an ebay turbo kit!
Once you figure out how a turbo setup works, you should be able to install one, like BLWN L61 said, read the FAQs.

never say never.
best thread ever.

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
Dude.......... DUDE!
Please dont take this as being rude to you because Im not trying to be........ Its obvious to me that you dont have the knowledge to piece together a turbo kit.
So you have 2 choices:
1) Learn everything about turboing a j-body, there is a book called "maximum boost" by Corkey Bell which would help you out.
-or-
2) Buy the GMPP supercharger kit that is available for your car. Its very relyable and will give you a big boost of power for cheap. As well with your level of boost knowledge it wont give you trouble and you can install it yourself.

a supercharger setup will be more reliable, less money in the long run, and for you, it would be the perfect solution for your want to go faster needs.
-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party
people have gotten the full supercharger kit for ~$1300 shipped... i dare say thats NOT too expensive for what you get out of it.

Get the turbo manifold and turbocharger off of a 03+ saab 93.
As for the rest, do lots of reading on the subject.
