I'm just trying to learn on how to make my own turbo kit or see if the hahn kit is better for me.. please im me at countryman468 on aim to have a little talk with me.
Whil i can appeciate you asking..your seeming to want a bost bedtime story...read..read some more and if you thought you read enough..READ!!!!
i know but i have no clue on what to do for tuning and how much i would need to take out a loan to be safe for.. Im thinking the hahn turbo but i just want a lot of power but safe at the same time.. I have stock internals and dont plan on upgrading them but i would like to beat on it and know it wont break very easily. Also I don't know what guages to get and programs and everything.. I guess i would like to know how much money i should take out for a loan but it has to be resonable.. I'm only 17 and have a part time job working like 10 hours a week at 8dollars and hour.
trust me on this, dont get a loan just to buy a turbo system, especially with little knowledge. just read in the boost forum. please dont get a loan just to boost your car.
should i just save?? or is it not worth it?? what should i do?
So you make $80 a week and you want to boost your car? Save it.
You are best off reading all you can about how a turbo system and tuning works, then by the time you are able to do it and save your self some $$$ you will have some saved up. NEVER BREAK THE BANK OVER A CAR, Especially if its one you rely on to get you to and from work, I installed my turbo kit over over a weekend by myself and drove it to work the next day, but I had been researching tuning for a whole year before that and was very comfortable with what I was doing, and also had my beater Fiero on hand in case something went boom
