Incorrect
When you turn on the defrost it engages the AC for the purpose that the ac unit pulls the humidity out of the air which can vastly affect how quick your windows defrost. Just a litle FYI

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
thanx wade.
i dont use my car in the winter so i have no need for a/c
the engine bay looks so much cleaner without the condensor and all a/c components in there and it allows fr alot more room to work with, which im gonna need for my new setup.
i know more people have boosted ecos than this
we need more pics
^^^ I don't see a hood.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
no hood who cares i want it.
1000+ eco nice find wade. I love that drag car
As for the intake mani, yeah but Chill Factory is no longer in existance it is now Air Forced 4. There were two guys, both former employees of HRC, one left the other continued the company but under a different name w/ a different partner.

hey skunk, i talked to vic and i sent him a portfolio, so i might be in the same boat as you with a sponsorship. we will have to represent airforced4
Sweet dude Vic is really cool about sponsorships. All you gotta do is sport a sticker on there somewhere. I hope it works out for ya.

yea i told him i would gladly run a sticker. how is the intake manifold working out for you. and as far as the turbo manifold goes, will he position the flange anywhere and also put an external wastegate flange and place that anywhere also??
You'd have to talk to him about that, he's got two fixtures for the flange placement, as for the wastegate, mine is the only eco one that he's made for external gated systems.
I love the intake mani, the car has so much more top end and throttle response. I love it. Dyno to come next weekend.....I hope.

Lefix, yeah there are ways to keep the a/c if you go to the thread "2.4's let me see your turbos" or something like that look for a sliver Z24, his name is chupabara or something and that is one way to run them to keep your a/c. Or you could have your turbo clocked so that if faces down and you can run the hot side under the car and the cold side in the bay if you have a 5spd. If you have an auto then the silver Z's is the way to go.
my car still had functional A/C. theres no reason you'd HAVE to lose it
i dont use mine, i think its pointless, so i just took it out and sold it all
