i either want to go super or turbo. what is better and what is easier. hahn turbo or gmpp supercharger? i am kinda partial to the supercharger because i already have intake/header/exhaustr/nitrous/cams. i was going to do a custom intake manifold and go n/a but i found out im getting a lot more back on taxes so im thinking of going boosted. or would it be better to biuld an n/a motor from the ground up?vgive me your opinions.

You could build your motor and continue using a larger shot of nitrous, or you could boost it and use your nitrous, it would hold up for a while but you are getting towards the grey area of where stock components start becoming unstable.
Its personal opinion but the GMSC is probabally the simplest install, but from what Ive seen the Hahn Install isn't bad either. The GMSC is going to be more plug n play, less fuel issues, issues with welding, making a few small fabs to get everything hooked up. The Hahn Kit is going to be faster and have more potential in the long term for less $$$.

Its up to you.

Well from my understanding the Hahn system, is a pretty good system - for turbocharging. IIRC it will give you about 80Hp w/intercooler. So with the intercooled Hahn System, and everything else your Ecotec should be about making about 210-220 whp, without the Nitrous.

The GM Supercharger will likely give you better day to day drivability & reliability. But less chance to upgrade. Yes you could possible change out the pulley (to a smaller one) to make more boost. Also the Nitrous would help act as an intercooler,

As for the custom intake manifold - Personal I would recommend waiting until you decide on which system your getting. The GM Charger comes with a custom intake manifold for the S/C.

Basically - if you want a 300 whp - Mustang slayer - go with the Turbo.

But if you want a reliable daily driver (with about 200-230whp) that can match or beat stock Cobalts, Neon SRT-4, Sentra Spec V, and Civics. Then your choice is likely going to be the GM charger
