I know this is probably a dumb question, but will the Cobalt supercharger off of the 2.0 Eco directly bolt onto the 2.2 Eco? I found a cobalt charger with intake manifold for dirt cheap from a local buddy and if it fits I'm going to scoop it up for my S/C Eco swap.
Thanks,
-Paul
yes it will fit
getting the rest is gonna kill ya , some stuff isnt avaliable
also your gonna need to drill and tap the holes in your head to 8mm x 1.25 , from the 6mm and use the studs and bolts from the cobalt
Eric, why woudln't you just go to ace hardware and pickup some bolts that fit the thread on the 2.2 block. That's what I did

cause the ace hardware , that had the good bolts selection is gone near me
and since i got that motor from karo , all the larger studs and bolts were there already
the studs GM gives you in the kit have a sharp transistion from 6mm to 8mm and snap pretty dam easy
i had the 1's from the kit , wish i woulda listened to my self and not used them , lol
oh well , now i got some metric taps to go with my standard taps , lol

BTW airtonics what's up with those times ? Did you really only shave .2 off your time with the 3.0 pulley AND exhaust ?
I thought those two mods would put you at least in the 13.5 range and more than 2 mph higher than before...

Fred,
I've been to the track once with the exhaust and pulley. The track isn't the best place in the world for prep. I just spin through first and second gear but my traps went up nearly 3 mph.
If I had traction I'm sure it could do much better. I'll go to milan or mid-michigan motorplex another time and get some better times. But for now, yeah those are all I have. I'm, not sure where my A/F ratios really are. I added some fuel but my wideband is currently inop so I may free up some hp with some more tuning. I'm sure the times will drop as the season goes on

the track is not that good but you still cut a 2.1 60' time lol... hopefully your car's tune is way out of wack and so when you bring it back to optimal you'll at least have a 13.5 for us...
I was thinking of getting 2.5" exhaust and pacesetter header in the near future and hoping to have the potential for 13.7s, but this is making me reconsider...
Good luck for next time and be sure to post the results !!!

I can still cut decent 60ft's but I can't use the "go" pedal much.
That run is somewhere in this vid, you can hear the tires spinning on most of the vids or me letting off because of it.

I seriously doubt anyone is going to get a mid-high 13 with only exhaust while on street tires. I mean the blowers can make power but we do need to be somewhat realistic. I've already dropped 2 seconds off my orig 1/4 mile time and gained 14mph in the traps. I'm happy for what I have into it.

drag radials , and good suspension will be the key to 13 sec passes
and good driver
but i dont think its a impossible goal
