you can buy plugs that use friction lugs to attatch to the speaker and plug into the stock wires
or i'm assuming you could cut the plug off and just solder the wires on
so i can just go to napa and get a plug that plugs into my stock plug and fits onto my new speaker?

if you remove the tape, you should see that the wires were just cut and then attached the plug-in piece, you wont need the plug-in piece! attch the wires directly to the speakers
Cut the plug off and wire it directly to the speaker. I would recommend getting a soldering iron and solder the contacts, that way the wires wont come off with excessive vibration and jumping.
Yup just cut em off if you plan on using the stock wires.
