alright, so i took some pictures just to try and help you out with what i'm saying.
so i just made a switch panel to hold two switches.
so i went down to radioshack to pick up some switches. i bought a 3-pack because buying 2 separately would've been more expensive (go figure).
i had just pulled out the first two, and they were going to be the ones i was going to throw in there. but then i looked at the third switch and realized it was entirely different (i had previously taken the on/off display).
here are the two switches i was thinking about using...
here's the bottom of these two switches...
now here's the oddball...
and here's it's underside... this is kind of what scared me...
i was just wondering if i can still wire the two primary switches, and just maybe toss or store the weird one somewhere. would this still work?
also, could i get like a 2 minute ms paint drawing of how i'm supposed to wire everything up? even if it'll work with the two switches, could someone PLEASE tell me how to wire these!!!
thanks in advance to all of you!
~Cole
ok, you never told us what you want to wire and you don't need that third switch. That third switch is just like the other ones except it can connect two wires to two locations at once. the third switch is easy to wire. but i have to know what your doing to help you out any more.

i'm trying to wire up some neons (like around 10 or so to each switch)... sorry about that!
connect the ground wire from the neon to the chassis or the negative on the battery. connect the battery to the one terminal and the neons positive to the other. Or...for the "weird" switch connect the battery to the middle post and on set of neons to the outer pins. you should be able to play with it and figure it out.

ok ok... let's just say i'm more of a visual learner... lol.and yes i took the time to do this... so this is how it's supposed to work?
oh, and sorry about all the questions. i used to have 3-prong switches in my car, so switching to two is taking some getting used to... obviously...

yeah it's just for clarification... thanks a ton for your help!
~Cole
ok you have 2 pins on the switch. black from neon goes to negative on battery. positive on battery goes to pin 1 on the switch. the red from the neon goes to pin 2 on the switch.
