hello i was wondering if 2 MTX 12" subwoofers that are 800 watts and hooked up to a 450 watt amp worth $100?

well, i have one 12" MTX Thunder8000 sub... i dont have it hooked up yet, however, i think you would want at least 450 running to each sub.... is the 800 the rms, or the max?? mine are 450 rms and 1000 max....
as for are they worth the 100.... one of my subs retails for close to double that....
whether or not they are worth it really depend on what shape they in, age, and model.

A few questions in order to answer yours:
1)Which model are the subs(Thunder 4500, 5500, etc...)
2)What brand of amp, and what model
3)Where are you getting these from
4)Would you be physically able to kick the dude's a$$ if he sold you bad stuff

*If you answer yes to 4, and have $100 to throw around for no reason, you might as well no matter the answer to 1,2&3.

umm i dont know what modle they are they just say MTX AUDIO on them and the amp is a MTX RT 2400
