hey guys im new here i just got a 97 4dr cavalier 2.2ohv auto im plannign to be spending some money and time into this car in the next few months im working on a 3.4V6 automatic swap which is what ive decided im going to be doing i have a few questions in regards to 3rd gens because i know a bit about 2nd gens cause ive owned 3 of em before so here it goes:

1. I wanna take basically a whole 3rd gen 2dr Z24 and transfer everything on to my car ie. lights, bumper front and rear, i wanted to know are the will the 2dr Z24 sideskirts fit on the 4dr? what about the reart trunklid with spoiler? Z24 2dr rear tailights will those work on the 4dr? will the z24 2dr coupe head lights fit or do i need to swap the fenders and good as well?

2. what are my best spring and shock combo u guys recomend i wanna go the lowest i can go with a drop spring but i want the car to ride smooth as possible what do u guys recomend the best for apperence and comfort?

3. I wanna put either GTP or grand am leather seats in my 4door will this fit in the car? what mods need to be done to either front or back

4. my car has manual crank windows i want to convert to powerwindows all 4, what are my best options to go here were there power windows available for these gen cavy's i can swap in the motor components etc? or aftermarket window kit?

5. I want to retain the A/C system when doign the 3.4 swap as far as i understand i have to use a different a/c compressor does anyone out there have this setup working in their car any inputs on suggestion?

sides, trunk and tails will work, can use an a/c compressor fo a buick regal, the lines run in an easier to hook up direction and you wont have to ben them. windos, front power will be easy regulators and switches that go into the centre console. not sure about rear windows. But the crank handle whole will need to be covered.

the tail lights and headlights are the same for both the Z and non Z cars. everything will fit perfectly without modifications, though I think the 2-door and 4-door trunks were slightly different as I have a 2-door trunk on my 4-door right now and I had to use a washer to level it out. low as possible+smooth as possible = air, lol. if you don't want to spend the 2g on air you can do a lighter drop of a 1" from Eibach.

the trunks are the same on the cavaliers and are all interchangeable. its the sunfire trunks that are different between 2 & 4 door. you can use cavalier trunks on the sunfire sedans and vice versa, but not on the coupes. its the same rule fo thumb with the tailights. all cavalier tailights are interchangeable, as are the sunfire sedan outer tails, but the sunfire coupes are different.
