Engine, harness, ECM to start with, also get the dual cooling fans if you can

if the GAGT has leather seats, might want to snag those as well.. they almost are bolt-in on J's... just a side thought

Heh.... mine looks like more of a hack job than anything, for the longest time the wiring was NASTY. I've got only some of it out of the loom right now cuz I need to still connect more wires. Also need to get me a 3 wire CTS.

750 is a lot for that engine though. Should have been able to get one for less than 400. The engine comes from a lot of stuff like minivans and such. They're readily available.

(Note: I got mine with all the accessories for 400. You may want to consider changing them if you question their functionality. My stuff got changed a lot, the alternator only worked for one trip, then gave out)

Also, change all the gaskets and seals if you got the time. ESPECIALLY the intake manifold gaskets.

^^ depends on the region of the country... cheapest I could get was 1200 for a low mileage engine.

When you replace the lower manifold gaskets, use the metal kit that felpro makes.

Yeah I went to the junkyard a few days ago to get a 56mm throttle body from a quad four, and I don't recall seeing ANY 3400s. 3100s as far as you can see though. Must have put that engine in dam near every front wheel drive other than some of the bigger cars that come with the 3800.

The 3100 swap would be the same. I would only reccomend doing the 2000+ 3100 for the power. It'll look the same as the 3400 does. You'll be down a bit on power, but not by much.
