I have XM in my car now and I want to get rid of the factory mounted antenna thats in the rear fender. I can unscrew it, but I wannt get rid of the mount and put a cap in its place. And sooner or later just delete it entirely. Anyone know how?
THe mounting on the antenna should be screwed into the fender. I believe u just have to get some pliers and play around with the nut on the inside of the fender.

go inside the trunk pull back the carpet theres 2 screwing holding a bracket on unscrew them and pull it out..
