These showeed up today.
Then I used this:
And came up with this (on a spare test knuckle)
Nets me a 1.25" taller ball joint. Should definitely help the camber curve. I basicaly just need to weld the cup into a plate, and bolt it in place of the stock ball joint. Pretty straight forward.
We'll see just how it all works out when its done.

looks great man!
can you upgrade to the lighter n-body aluminum knuckles or is that a 3rd gen only deal?
If it takes forever.... I will die trying. Underdog Racing
I dont think so. Im sure James would have done it already if it was possible.

Thank god someone else had this idea - Keep us posted!
I ordered the steel to make the plates today. I might play with these some more in a week or two. Have a few other projects I need to finish up before I go any further on this one.

That is only for 3rd gen
No, it will work on a 2nd gen. I didn't do it because I had already swapped to H body knuckles and made adapter plates to use the J bearing.
.
Finally cut out the plates (again, with my trusty bosch jig saw) for the monoball setup. One is basically all done. I just need to make some relief cuts between the control arm holes so it can go all the way in (its short by about 1/8"). The other still needs the cup welded and the reliefs cut.
monoball plate vs. stock balljoint.

Awesome man, just awesome.
perhaps for the fitment issue you could reshape the new plates to look like the original balljoints.
example:
Ya. Thats exactly what I meant by I need to cut reliefs in the plates
