order them from autozone.com, cost me like 100 bucks shipped.
.
do you have the part number so i can make sure they get the right part?
^^ +1
Phlatcav, did you get SRT cals or standard Neon calipers?
Only reason is I just got paid and ordered new SRT calipers (55 each + 30 core)... want to make sure I got the right part.
No i did not get the srt ones.
Autozone part numbers are...
C328
C329
aaron... looks like you and i are going the same route. i too would like to find the 10.1" slotted n cross drilled rotors to match my fronts. i'll probly even go ahead and order the same calipers you got to.
I have bought the near rear disc brackets but there are not too many machine shops in my area. Is there any one I can maybe ship them to and pay to get the machined?
Josh is your most likely candidate for that.
Hey Joshua you said the intrepid calipers will work???? What year and model should I look for. I just went to look at the neon calipers for the again today and they still aren't right, I don't know hats so dificult about geting @!#$ neon calipers but noone can seem to get anythign that even looks remotely close.... so whats the intrepid stuff I'm gonna see if I have better luck with that cause this whole thing is really starting to piss me off.
I'd also like to know what I could grab off an Intrepid or Daytona. I can't find a Neon with rear disks to save my life...

better a delay than a disaster.

did you notice they list that part number no matter what the thread pattern wether its 7/16-20, 7/16-24, or M10 x 1.0 is the same????
part numbers that I have are:
1998 neon
rear calipers C329 & C328
rotors 5375
Bear Decela rotors 5375-020 ( pair, drilled and slotted )
(same part number applies to some Intrepid, Le Baron, Shadow, and Sebring convertible (not the coupe or sedan)
2003 Neon SRT
rear calipers C498 & C499
rotors are the same as above
there are at least 2 casting numbers that I know of for our needs. the number is right on the face of the caliper. #120492 should fit the brackets available for this project. the other casting is 120753, this is from the Daytona Shelby turbo ( late 80s ) these are made to accommodate a vented rotor. they are identical to the other casting except that the opening for the pads and rotor is larger than the first casting. please be aware that this casting is specific to the Daytona with the 15- 16" wheels. the 14" wheels are the 120492.
Autozone only had one on hand and i was able to conferm it was the right part. I went home and ordered them online. Forgot to check the thread though

.
was that including core charge ??? cause i dont have cores....
Core on those are like $15-$18... not that much. Better than the $50-90 I was getting quoted locally
yea i paid a core charge of 18 bucks
well I just ordered them off autozone as well, I ordered for a 99 and selected 7/16-20 inlet but we'll see when they get here. Hopefully this works out cause this si really turning to a pain in the ass.

Odd... running those #'s come up with oil stuff
I show c494 and c495 as the SRT calipers...
Also the EBC rotors here:
Its a long URL
Look like they'd match the Wilwood fronts if going with SRT calipers

Link errored, but found what you meant... wasn't able to find the passenger one using 2003 (might be the area I live in), so the #'s I posted are for 2k5

The calipers I got from autozone ARE correct but came with 2 diff thread pitch. Are there 3 sizes? Cuz oneof the fittings that come with the kit fit in one caliper but the hole in the other is much smaller it seams.
^You can also try to clean the top thread....I've had a caliper have a horrible first thread that i actually had to tap, it also made it look a little smaller up top, but its been awhile. For the record I've never seen more than those two patterns.
i wanna see pics for those who finish this.... i plan on doin mine soon but i gotta stop my quarter panel rot first....
Rather than muck up the GP thread...
10.6" rotors do fit
So they aren't drilled or vented, but once the black coating is burned off the firepath, they should look decent.
Cut away at that dust guard.....you'll get bad rotor scrape if you dont....the J hub is shorter than the factory neon so it pulls the rotor in further and it rubs on the guard.
