So far ive had no luck whatsoever trying to find a shop that will mandrel bend SS pipes for my exhaust, does anybody know of any places that do mandrel pipe bending in the pittsburgh area? any info would greatly appreciated thanks.
I know redline exhaust in the north hills does custom pipes, its not madrel and I know its not crush bent either. The number is: 412-638-4656

they did my transam exhaust. it is crush bent....aka hydro pipe bender.
he does a very nice job, gave me true duals on my 3rd gen F-body, and ran both pipes down the passenger side (where the factory exhaust is) so I retained all my ground clearance.

What area of pittsburgh are you in, I know exhaust people in the north and south hills.

yeah, I know where that is.....dont know anyone out that direction, I would do Redline.
If 2 people give them a thumbs up here......cant go wrong.
that sounds good but i was really hopeing to get mandel bent, is crush bending a lot worse or does it even matter which way you get the pipe bent?
crush bending is one step down from mandrel.
usually if I want mandrel bent, I buy it that way, or I buy the elbows I need and have it welded together.

it is still worlds above the kinked stuff you see at the parts stores.
lol ya true i mean i found a mandrel bent exhaust from custom tubes inc, but the problem was it was 2.50 and my motors not built or boosted or anything so i figured that be to big for my needs.
i even asked them if they could bend me up some 2.25 but they said no, but in any case thanks for all the info its greatly apprecaited
