Anyone up for swapping stock mounts for rk mounts? My girl hates them and doesn't want them.

I think I still have my stock 01 LD9 lower mount if you need one. I can ship it out if you want to cover the cost...I'm @ 21210 in MD.

Hold on now, typical woman, now she can't make up her mind. I explained the added benefits of solid motor mounts, and shes like, well I don't wanna lose that, I just hate the vibrations... give's me headaches

Lol.... Tell her to by some dynamat and tear her dash apart, and lay the @!#$ everywhere on the firewall, and then put rubber bushing behind all the bolts into the steel support frame, the fire wall, and everything... a bit of it goes away. Still will feel it all in the seats tho.

Lemme know b4 friday if you want me to swing out your way. I will do that if you have tools and jack.

Honestly jeffie..... I've seen way to many mounts shift and cause the bushings to shear and the poweder coating to flake off.... RK FTW on the mounts.

any mount that has had a defect tho cody Aaron has taken care of

Mine havent had a single issue

and so long as you torque them down properly you wont ever have a problem with them.

Plus they are FAR FAR superior to the RK design since i switched from RK to TTR I've seen and experienced the difference and its like night and day.

So TTR FTW!!!!!!!!

ah....well. I saw one recently on our cobalt SS when erik came back into the shop. Which swore me off from them. Aaron is a great guy and has great products... maybe i just like a lot of vibrations. They don't bother me.

Yea the vibrations are less with the TTR mounts and if you havent seen the video yet my motor litterally doesnt move anymore. Its a beautiful thing, Ill never go back to RKmounts.

Phil, I've got stock upper and lower Eco mounts sitting in my garage - guess I should have offered them up while you were there lol. In any case, if you want to swap them out, let me know and we'll get it done

do the trans mounts and the vibes will almost go away.

having one mount more solid than the rest is what causes the vibes to be so bad
