Im not sure yet. I have been test driving a bunch of new vehicles. Im looking into an SUV, something with AWD or 4WD. I might go with the Chevy HHR if I decide to go without the AWD or 4WD.

ehh, i changed my mind about which car I am buying. I test drove a vibe and got a really good price so I think I am going to get it.

I did like the way the HHR drove though. It was the slower one, which I didnt want.

Maria,

Whoa! That's more than I thought...

It's a nice car, but I think you're shooting a little high. If you're fully loaded and rated "excellent" the Blue Book is only $1800. I'm not sure you're gonna get what you want at that price point even with the mods.

You might be better off parting it out, taking it back to stock and selling the car separately. Just my 2 cents...

Thanks anyhow.

You making it sound like im selling it for an outrageous price and like greg said we checked the blue book. I may end up parting it out if I dont sell it, but I put a for sale sign on it this morning and had 3 phone calls about it today. Two who are very interested.

All's good. I DID do a Kelley Blue Book on a used car from PRIVATE SELLER and it was lower than the trade in value. Trade In is only good when you go to a dealership anyhow... They mess with the numbers big time... that was in my zip code which is 17022. Prices may vary slightly depending on where you are located.

Anyway, I did say: just my 2-cents... lol

If ya sell it, great! And good luck.

1/2 hour away in 17603 it's coming up at $1705. I never realized that it did vary that much with places so close together! I had to look it up out of curiosity

Good luck selling it, I hope the interested people really are. Awd is good!

mods dont matter, it doesnt increase the value of the car. i dont know what shes asking so i can say if its a fair price or not

Re: car for sale, anyone interested

alot of people will pay more money for cars with mods then for cars without mods, ecspecially people who cant do it, or are lookin for a car with stuff done already. but on the flip side, some ppl dont want anything done. i dont know, every car ive ever sold that has work done, ive always got more than whats it worth outta it because of that. try autotrader, and not the .org where everyones uptight. put this car in ANY OTHER PLACE THAN HERE, and youll have absolutly no problem selling it

Re: car for sale, anyone interested

true some people will pay more but when modding a car it greatly decreases your customers. you have to find someone that wants to buy exactly what you have done. not everyone wants it and thats why modded cars are hard to sell and thats why they say the mods arent worth anything. anytime i get rid of a modded car, its completely stripped and sold in pieces, you get more money out of it that way. gl selling the car though, i didnt mean to try and jack your thread

Its alright, I didnt expect to sell it on here and I dont care if the post was jacked. I have had a few interests but no bites yet. If I dont sell it, I will keep it. Its on a car lot right now waiting to see if someone from back home might be interested.
