Would anyone like to plan a philly area summer meet for say perhaps, the end of august? I would need input on when people would be available and where they would be able to drive to, philly or jersey for the meet, the last meet we had was in washington twp nj for the philly area, it was at TGIF (which has since then burned down) right along route 42. we have tried so many philly meets, people around here never show! i went to one and only like 4-5 out of 13 showed
but i would try to make it if a whole bunch of people were going
lol ive learned one thing from the org about members in the philly area. not many show when you try to get a meet. ive been tryin' for 3 yrs to get a decent turn out and the most i ever saw at a meet was i think 6 across from show-n-tel in november and it was like 20 degrees out. id be up for a meet if anyone actually shows
i'd be in too, rather stay in jersey but would travel to philly. def need some notice though to make sure its doable around work, and when i say i'll go i usually wont back otu without a really good excuse. if we get something goin, maybe more people will start comin

The meets always get set up like weeks and weeks in advance... When the day actually comes, most people just forget about it... I have trouble remembering stuff like that..
Id say if you do get something going.. Make a post w/ the date right in the subject...
I check this regional forum almost every day- If its there, i won't forget.

well i usually try to set them up a month in advance because usually people bitch if you try to set it up within 2 weeks cuz they cant get off work or this or that.
Well im only able to do fridays and sundays, i wanna do it in august, whats a good date for you guys? Some possible days for me would be 21st, 26th, and 28th, we could do it sooner, im goin down the shore on the 19th so i wont be available then. I say we hold it in washington twp again, perhaps at applebees down by lowes? They have a bar there also so those who want to get their drink on, can :p
i can do sundays but not fridays, i work til 5 on fridays and plus thats my night out since its the end of the work week.

Unfortunate but true, its probably impossible to set a common date where everyone will be able to attend. So, its best to just pick an ideal day of the week, and time.. Whoever can make it, great- whoever can't, maybe next time. ..

Sunday is probably the best day for everyone, is everyone free on sundays during the month of august? My cav stil wont be done in time, i still owe 950 on the short block and then i still have to build the rest and get it in the car, im still lookin at another 2 months of work, so ill prolly be rockin my brothers neon, but i have to give him a month in advance notice so he can take off of work. How is sunday the 28th for you guys? Say....Applebees in washington twp on the black horse pike? Mid day? 3 or 4pm? To try to avoid the dinner crowd?
id rather have one in philly, then we can cruise to just about anywhere to get something to eat, plus you can get some nice pics by all the stadiums
