I also got it.....no place can tune for Alpha-N worth a crap around here though.

What are you planning on doing, and on what?? If it is something we can convert to speed density, then I know a few places with dyno's that can handle it. I would recomend some place that does lots of F-body cars, as they will usually have more knowledge of HPT.

Then you are golden, you can pick up a 2-bar map sensor, and flash it with the GM supercharged file as a base tune, and use HPT to go from there. That will conert it to speed density, which most places are more familiar with, and can tune for you.

I have found a couple places that will allow you to bring in your own software, and computer, and use that to tune.

I also know a pretty cheap dyno rental place, if you found a tuner you want to use, but no dyno.

If you need help flashing the supercharged file, or anything like that, let me know. 99 I know will give you some problems, with the lack of BCM, since the supercharge tune is meant to have one.
Have you thought about a 00+ with a 95-99 front end? or are you thinking about snagging an entire harness from an 00, and get a bcm in it? or do you want to stay 99, no BCM, and just tune it?

I do have a 97 speed density file if you want to go the more archaic route as well, but I dont like Alpha-N for boosted applications.

Official GM Supercharger Pre 00 Information Sticky---- http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=40&i=105987&t=105987

i found a 99 z24 its got 81,xxx miles for cheap i have always wanted a green z and that is what it is....once i get it i will be trying to find a 2.4 to be stripped down and rebuilt
and the reason i don't want the gm s/c reflash is
A. i would have to wire it to a 00+ crap and all the gauges won't work i forget his name he did it on here he has a 99 red z with an import fighter kit and evo hood
B. i won't be keeping the stock pully on there for long if not going to the M62 if the intercooled manifold comes out from vulcan turbo i won't buy the non intercooled one...
C.the will be alky installed
D.if i find HO cams they will be going in also

for the dyno i wanna do a before and after run of the supercharger install with tune

Eh, I can still get it speed density, and use the 2-bar map, and keep all your gauges workin.

I dont like only having an FMU for fuel control, especially on an OBD II car.

I assume you are trying to keep this street legal.

I wouldnt hold your breath for the new manifold.....but sounds like you know more about it than me.

Let me know, but I can get that without a standalone.

Are you not in an OBD emissions county or something?

Cause passing a sniffer test is easy, a computer test is more complicated.

SWEET, get me a pic of that mani.....NOW!

They have been cracking down in Allegheny recently. Granted I know how to get around OBD tests too, and did it a couple times.....but it is still not something I recomend.....nor buying stickers, as they are really starting to crack down on it.

Hmmmmmm, the details about how you are not worried intrigue me, and would hate to see anyone get a warning for such.

I dont think you can get a warning for pm's though (cough cough)

I have seen some vulcan stuff, but have not seen or heard of any 2.4 intercooled charger mani.

of course I cant get to thier site @ work either.....

lol.....that sucks.

Control arms are cheap at least.

You know, if you didnt have "Kustom" tires on there, ice might not be so bad.....

But, I would like to get in touch with said mystery shop to see what they can do and what equipment they have.

Vulcan has one non intercooled manifold paid for and they are waiting for me to come up with the cash for the 2nd one. I was trying to sell my SC kit to pay for it but I have no takers so far. I might be leaving the project anyway because I doing a motor swap of sorts

My tune for the SC in my 99 is fine using the stock MAP sensor. My AEM FPR is 1:1 under boost and the tables have been adjusted for it.
