look from what i have read phlat wants to sell the car for a reason and he doesn't need others talking him out of some thing he needs to do any way....after all he did put it up for sale for a reason

We dont need any others trying to talk people out of there OWN opinion! Not to sound rude of hostile , but people have there reasons for not wanting him to sell jsut like people have reasons for wanting him to also ! ITS there own opinion u cant stop that!

Yes the car is going to go bye bye and to a great person. The deposit is not going back and the car will be picked up on Saturday. I will miss this car for sure as I have sweat and blead for it! But I feel like moving on for my own reasons and nobody will ever hear or read that I regret it.
Ill be back one day when I am ready.

Wow....I sat and thought about this sell for the last couple days myselft not thinking it would sell that fast!
I would have bought it myself...yeah even being overseas I would have bought it and just left it in the states for the next 12 months before I get back.
Damn...that went fast! I even talked to the wife about it!

Props on doing what you needed to do. That's what matters. I personally think some of this discussion could've been avoided had you shed a little more light onto why, but I also understand you have your right to privacy and respect that.
Best of wishes, loved the car, but in the end...it's a car, not the greatest investment one person could make. Granted I'm not one to talk, but that's the honest reality of it.
Joe - No seriously. I wouldn't even have to sell the 03. My G/F told me she would have bought it. She's seen it in person and we know Aaron. I told her I would have HAD to swap the S/C and parts to my blue cav.

Seriously I respect anyone who can realize when they've gotten in too deep and need to make a major change for the better, even if it means doing something that hurts. Your car was and always will be one of my fav's, but if you feel that something is more important that it, your making the right choice. Maybe I emphasize to much because I'm sitting here thinking that I may have ruined the one relationship in my life that mattered because I couldn't make a change but thats besides the point.
I think everyone needs to realize that at the end of the day its a car, a car that in all honestly could be duplicated again and again. However the other things in the life that we sometimes sacrifice to build these cars that matter. And sometimes people have to realize that its not worth making some sacrifices to have a car own our lives and influence all our decisions.
Just my 2 cents, Aaron lemme know if Im outta line here.
