i cant even get out of my drive way let alone drive up the hill i live on..... im in youngstown, ohio we got about 10 inches af snow and like 2 inches of ice

i called off....just didnt want to work

i drive trucks and i knew they wont send us out today, and i didnt wanna be in the yard...so i stay home

i called off... freezing rain PLUS currently have my dognut on! depending on how the roads are by 3 i may have to call in again!
but how many people can be skiing withh the roads like this?! i mean we got more ice than snow and it suCKS to ski on ice!!

i want to but i dont want to be stuck in the apt with my gf again.....drove me nuts yesterday

I called off again today! 2nd day in a row... I live in Delaware, Ohio, but work in Dublin, Ohio (Columbus). We had about 8 in's of show yesterday, and again about 3-4 in's over night. The owner of the house came over and plowed the 1/8 mile driveway for the 2nd day in a row, but the wind is just blowing snow right back on the driveway. I could of made it into work, but Delware is under a Level 3 Snow Emer. so I told my boss it is agaist the law to drive so I'm not going to chance it driving in. I'm going go work on my manifold a little bit, and a few other things I think. I really wish I had a job like David that I could work from home, but I don't think porting cars via-computer would be smart, but fun no less.

Classes are cancelled again, does that count?

Yea I hear you on needing money, but it is not worth your life to go to work...

my classes canceled yesterday and today is my "free day" i measured 16-19" of snow in certain spots around here this morning..weather said we got 17-18" of snow tho. took me hour and a half to get my car out.

yeah my work called off, I actually showed up yesterday

didnt have to, work closed down 2 days in a row.

I called in yesterday...and when I tried to call today to see if the plant was open, nobody answered. So I left a message for my boss telling him that no one answered anyway so I wasn't coming in.

i wish i could call off , bit its not that bad i get to drive around a a big 2500 HD all night and plow parking lot after parking lot,
then the part that sucks is when u got to get out and load the salter.......

I called in today b/c the wanted me to go to Indy ( I drive a semi for fed ex) and i didnt want to get stuck overnight or deal with the stuff

My job called us off, although my cavy was rippin it in the ice and snow this morning. er'body and their momz was stuck tday. By the way.....reporting from Newark Ohio! My kidz probably won't have school tmorrow.....AGAIN!!!!!!

i didnt have to call in anywhere cause im on disabiltity but I got to pull two 4wd fords out with my 2wd chevy truck

work closed tuesday when i had no problems driving around but had to call off yesterday do to no city plow coming down my street, we got about12-15" and it just stopped us cold in our tracks just too deep.

its bad when u come outside and see a tow truck, a ford explorer and a 4x4 atv all stuck on your street, i just looked at the hhr with the 2" drop turned around and went back inside.

That's why you don't have that much money. It wasn't bad in cincy here. My boss lives in florence and he had no power and still made it in.
