They are usually really simple. I'd almost say as simple as changing a head lamp bulb. The hardest part is running the wires, and wiring up the relay but it's all in the engine compartment. It's very simple but if you don't have any experience with wiring and this would be your first time you might want to have someone that is experienced or take it to someone. But basically it's all plug and play though.

As for the best it's hard to say because a lot of them are fairly new on the market and a lot haven't been tested in a long tern. I know McCollugh has had a lot of kits on the market for a while but most of the other kits out there are re-branded china kits and I have an HIDynamic kit (out of business now) But I haven't had problems. Most kits use AMP connectors for the bulbs and from what I have seen most of the replacement bulbs also use AMP connectors so that could be something to look for incase you blow a bulb and need to replace after the company goes out of business?

I have had the 8000K and the 6000K I'm going to get the 10000K for the bike even though it's not as bright as the 6000K. GP is where it's at.

Hmmm HID is in the title. I have the 6000K in my Z and 8000K in my 01 Cavy. I have the plug and play kit. I would say 600 is way to damn high. Not sure what bulb an LS takes, but if they use the same for both high and low you need either a low kit if you don't use highs to much like me, or spend the money and get the Bi-xexon kit that has two HID bulbs and two ballast. I've seen them go for around 300 for those. 8000K is blue. Some kits the 10,000K is blue also, but so close and hard to tell. The 8000K is nice and I love mine.

It's the asian kit it does have the AMP connectors and make sure you get the relays too. I also noticed that it was for lincon? what size bulb does it take? I would use the size bulb and what range light you want to find the kit you need. 299 seems ok but if you look you could get them a little cheaper.

ex: My bike uses an H7 bulb and I want a 10000K or 12000K kit so I would look under

H7 10000K hid or H7 12000K hid

If you do have like a 9007 or 9004 bulb that has low and high in one bulb it would be better to get the BI-zenon bulb because not having high beams sucks but you really don't need them!

Yeah I bet you think 600 is way too high seeing what I sold you my extra set for for

Here is the link to the store that the guy tells us to go to. It is on a local site called Dubohio for the VW guys we know. I never ever hear of the D2R before, but not sure what they look like since they don't show pic's if you know what I mean. it is 200 for a reg kit if you just have to replace your low beams, if you have the low/hign all in one you are up at 300. So it is your call man. Easy stuff.
