Just what the subject says, We are moving and are unable to keep my Dog.
We love him, and are very sad we are unable to keep him.
I need to find him a loving home, someplace where he can run and play outside would be best.
He is a Male, Pure bred White German Shepherd
He is about 4 years old
He has not yet been fixed so you could use him for breeding.
He was hit by a car a couple years ago and it damaged his pancreas so now he needs a pancreatine suppliment with every meal in order to digest his food, the medicine ends up costing about $15 per month, and can be aquired at any health food store, or from a vet witha perscription, or if you live near a slaughter house you could just give him minced pancrease (yum). Other then that he is perfectly fit and sound.
He is big, and obnoxious, but nice and protective, I have leashes, a collar, and a harness I will include, along with over a months worth of medicine.
Because he is obnoxious you would want to be careful around small children only because he might knock them down on accident, but he has been living with my 2 year old, and 10 month old so he is used to kids.
For those that may not know White German Shepherds are NOT albinos, they just have white fur.
Here are some pics from last year of him hanging with some other dawgs:
He loves playing ball, and goes ape @!#$ for frisbees.
He is awesome, and his name is Zeke, if anyone can help me find him a home it would be appreateated.
Ask friends and family, I really dont want to take him to a 'rescue' or shelter, or other temporary homes.
Thanks guys.
email me @ Nick@USOL.com or reply in this thread. If you live a long way from Flint, I would even be willing to Drive him to you, or meet you at a midway point.

go through a rescue organization dedicated to the breed. they'll guarantee the best home for the dog.

Good luck! He's beautiful!
I can't imagine what I'd do if I had to find a home for my two boys.
any move that requires u get rid of the doggies SUCKS! dont do it! lol
but take lilbits advise. gs rescue orgs are HUGE and very dedicated to the breed.
The biggest hole, is the illusion of invulnerability.

Already contact the White German Shepherd Rescues, 1 cant help, they are full, ones email mailbox was full and they didnt answer their phone, and another is going to be getting back with me.
But I am running out of time.

If you were only a year later when I get out of law school (and out of an apartment), I would be there the next day...
Best of luck.

Ya I am in the same boat, I was planning on buying a house this winter, and I would have taken him, but I still live in an apartment. Good luck in finding someone, he's beautiful
Do you have a free advertising paper in your area? We have the Bargain Hunter and it doesn't cost a cent to place an ad, there's always people getting rid of animals or looking for them. It's where I got my dog! Print off a few flyers and stick them in local stores and what not. You don't have any family that could take him? That'd be ideal because you'd still be able to see him.

I don't even know enough to know that I don't know!
Andrew V wrote:How well is the dog trained? Bathroom listening and doing stuff?
He can sit, speak, shake, laydown, but he is too excited to stay for very long. He is trained to go outside, but if he doesnt get enough of his medicine he can have diareah accidents, just gotta make sure you dont run out
Arnjolt wrote:Has be been around birds and cats? I'll talk to my parents see if they want him
Cats yes, birds no.
He would be fine around cats, but he has never really been around birds, I am sure once he got used to them he would be okay.
