WTB: Beater under 1k..
Thursday, April 06, 2006 8:00 AM
Hey, I am looking for another cavalier in decent body shape and decent at least running condition..

I am selling the CRX because I shouldnt have bought an import in the first place and I cant easily replace the parts because frankly im not that mechanically inclined.. but I am looking for a beater while my cav is getting finished.. and I dont want to spend more than 1k on it

I know Js are common, and common problems, and how to fix those, but im at a loss with a honda.. it sucks

So, if anyone has a J or something similar for a beater let me know and we can hopefully work somethng out.. looking to buy with first check of may ( wheels are coming with next check, so it would be 4-6 weeks from today

Thanks

Stephen.. thats EXACTLY what im looking for.. colors and all..

If its looks alright and drives ok.. ill take it

Chris I know its not easy to get a 3rd gen that is in good shape for that.. im looking for like a wrecked one if I go that route, or a decent 2nd gen.. somethng that I the yard has a lot of parts for..

Thats the reason the CRX sucked so bad.. I couldnt find parts

thats cool. i figured if u wanted a beater you'd get somethin you wouldn't want to eventually put more money in. hence a celebrity. haha.

jason-i'll be doin yard work for gma all day. ill call when im done to see if ur still workin on the car.

youll finally drive something with 6 cyls....congrats on the upgrade! jp. 2nd gens are solid cars, and you can beat up on them...and they still take care of you. its a thing of beauty.
