Well those right there do not seem to affect us right now. I'm sure these will lead to more laws that will affect us directly.

I officially gave up on Crist after he gave $5 million to Martin Anderson's estranged family before there was even a trial. I thought he was a Republican but he's shown his true liberal self after getting elected. The best part is just like seat belt laws, these tougher standards are directed at cars when motorcycles offer less protection in a crash and produce a similiar amount of pollution.

Look like Florida will only adopt the California motor vehicle emission standards but for new cars only, pending approval of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency waiver. The standard is a 22-percent reduction in vehicle emissions by 2012 and a 30-percent reduction by 2016.
As of now I have not read of any testing like the one found in California.

Let me tell you people in Florida that shrug this news off, if you tuned your cars or put new engines or put aftermarket products that are not C.A.R.B. legal if a law goes into effect similar to Cali's, you're f-u-c-ked.

You are correct. Hopefully they will not pass laws like Cali has. One thing that would happen (in the future) if they did pass laws like Cali, is more company's would have to start putting out carb legal products. I know alot already are, but more would have to.
