the first show and race event is this sunday at piedmont im off and might go if neone else is interested, i havent been able to get to many meets in the past due to the fact of distance, but im off and thinking i might head down for a run or two, the cav is runnin like crap right now though so im not so sure i want to push it
, unless i can fix it before sunday

i just went to the rock for the 1st time w/ some friends, n if you guys are having a show over there, i am deffinately in. if u mean this sun as in tomorrow, oh well, cant make that one lol. but i wanna go back to the rock n to a show so it would be a good excuse for both

we went to the mooresville dragway saturday and i had a blast...i was too chicken @!#$ to race any other cars besides the people i know but i had fun. i couldnt get my car to hook up worth @!#$ spin spin spin spin spin spin spin i think if it could have hooked up it would have got a good time but 9.5 all stock isnt bad.

ALMOSTbeat a rx8! he ran like a 10.5 and i got a 10.7! which is decent i guess, considering my burnt clutch and my mods (or the lack there of). but i had fun. so @!#$ what yall think

running 10.7's??? I ran a 10.7 in my last Sunfire and it was a 2200....
shocked me too but then i looked up the specs for them and it amazes me the difference between the automatic and the stick shift (same freaking motors but diff tranny)
the automatic (an 06 model) 212 hp w/ 159 lbs of tq. w/ curb weight of 3,075 lbs and GVW lb was 3,854 lbs
the 6 speed (an 06 model) 232 hp w/ 159 lbs of tq. w/ curb weight of 3,045 lbs and GVW lb was 3,810.

As far as I know... last Saturday was the last test/tune saturday they were having. I checked the Mooresville Dragway website and it seems to confirm that... looks like the strip is out of the question for this weekend.
