I have a 1999 cav and i want to replace my door panel speakers to some aftermarket speakers!

I think the stock size is 4x6 - so does that mean 4x6 size speakers only fit?
I read somewhere that 6.5" speakers fit the door panels but im not to sure about it, i wanted to get feedback from a j.body site. Thanks.

If uve got a '99 cavalier w/ aftermarket speakers what size do uhave?

6.5's fit, either make some custom wood brackets for cheaP or just buy plastic mounts for 20 $s, and install. Avoid sony.

You can basically put any size you want with some
custom fabricationg.

They are Q-forms fused together with the stock piece to make 1.

Check the audio + electronics forum, theres a sticky at the top that will help you do it. It's quite easy, mine are 6.5" Infinity's
