Alright, for anyone who thinks they have some valuable input....I'm thinking of selling and curious what you all think I could get for my car. Here are the stats:
2002 Z24
Idigo Blue (see profile pics)
Charcoal interior
Sunroof
5-speed
(fully loaded)
the 2002 factory ground effects
Add-ons:
Window tint
clear corners
white bulbs (heads, corners, fogs)
koni yellows with eibach prokit
Hankook Ventus 405 HRII 215/55/16 (great tires! brand new!)
ractive front and rear strut braces
alpine alarm
B&M short shifter with billet knob
AEM srs intake w/ k&n cone filter
now here's the bad part....195,000km.
it's extremely well maintained. in great shape except for some road rash that should be expected after that many miles. i also have a JVC deck with sirius tuner...but i want to keep that.
so what could i get? and is it worth me returning the car to stock then selling all the aftermarket stuff? i'm not sure of the best way to get the most $ out of this car. i know i probably owe more than it's worth.
so any thoughts and figures would be appreciated. thanks!
ps - i guess kevin will be low-balling at a cool $900? ; )

thanks everybody.
it sucks how much $ i'm gonna have to lose between my buyout and what i'll end up selling it for. i may have to spend some time looking at what is worthwhile selling seperately (ie-suspension, shifter). of course, then i may have to start another thread asking what the individual aftermarket parts are worth to everyone.

obviously, i do a lot of driving. i'm thinking VW TDi right now. i just got the Z to where it's actually enjoyable...shame to sell it after the changes i've made. it's been great.
well, i still welcome any other thoughts or comparisons! thanks again everyone. be sure to let me know if you know anybody hunting for a car like this. i always believe that a used car is only as good as the previous owner, so hopefully whoever buys (if i do sell...) realizes all the car and preventative maintenance i've taken. anyway, we'll see what happens. i'll post if i sell so others will have an idea of what it's worth to the right individual.
ps - anyone at mosport this weekend?

these guys are nuts here is the closest one to yours on the trader and that is from a dealer. I think you can get 4500 tops, that car with that amount of k is shot no matter what maint you have done to it...unless if you just poped in a new engine and trans. I payed 4400 for my 99 gt with 95k on it 3 years ago. Dude keep that car and drive it in to the ground its the only wat to get your money out of it,.

i had a 99 2 door loaded with som e aftermarket stuff on it nothing big, 160,000 kms
dealer told me id never get more then $2300 for it. sold it private for $3300. if that helps.
the downer with these cars is the resale is crap. partly because there economy cars and partly because production is over.
good luck
