As for pointing out that I still drive a Cavalier, gee I almost forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder, and let's see my car brand new 20k his car brand new 30k. I'd hope you get a hell of a lot more car for 10k more.

And me being positive towards others, haven't you realized if it's not mine, it's not good enough and up to my standards?

You paid 20k for you car?!!?!
Lemme fix my statement. its a car thats worth just over 1/4 of the purchase price. And I'd say he did get alot more for 10k... AWD, a snail, HID's, and one hell of a big wing.

Sticker on mine was 19,900. Bought it brand new, and no I didn't pay that, should have clerified a little bit, I paid 13k for a all options lss. I got HID's and the snail, yeah I'd love to have the awd, but beggers can't be choosers. You stick w/ what you know, and after nearly a decade of modding J's, I think I made the right decision. I had other options when I went to buy my car but I just kept coming back to the J, there's just something about these econobox p.o.s.'s that I just can't get away from. Hell the 04 is my 4th. It's also my second boosted Cavi, my first being a supercharged 96 w/ a complete 01 swap, I think I've mentioned that before, but enough about me, why if you love the subaru so much didn't you get one? Yeah it's a nice car, and as stated before I just like the older front end better, not the round headlights but the one before the newest ones, not sureon the years, don't follow them all that closely. As for the wing, I'd rather not, but if you're into ricer things by all means let's see the clothes hanger wing on the back of your car next year.

Yep, the Skunk fires again. FAIL.

I just love how you downplay an STI and you wont even take your engine out of the engine bay to do things the right way.

Face it, your a redneck with a turbo. Bad combination if you ask me. With the turbo you were given a gift and you think because your car has a turbo on it that your a god of some sort.

I'm willing to bet that even with all the crap you have given him, Cavmania could probably seriously clear the floor with you. You talk so much crap but can you really back it up?

Hi my name is Skunk, worship me because I have a turbo cavalier with a fake TRD wanna-be front bumper and the nastiest engine bay on j-body.org.

Real quick, I already mopped the floor w/ Brandon's car, and this summer should be more of the same, but we will see what happens when that rolls around.

Why do you spend your time trying to make me think that I should change any of that. Do you think you are some sort of savior, oh please Mr. Rogers bring us back to happy town. Or maybe you're too busy changing outta your jacket and putting your slippers on to do that. I really wish trolls like you would stay in the forums they came from.

The problem is you are not just a little cocky, your bigtime cocky. You think you are owed something by this community because you have "modded a j-body for the better part of a decade", I don't see this as something that needs respect. I believe in actions speak louder then words and you sir just think that you can just roll of your mouth at people and demand respect because you have done things you think not many have done. Well I have a bit of news for you, nothing you have done is anything that a normal mechanic could handle. Your not special and you should not think you are.

why does the engine need removed? today's honing technology is a lot better then it used to be. Cavmania's car last I checked, was nothing special. A cavy with a turbo, no different then skunk's. So skunk's engine bay is a little cluttered...so....its functional, and isn't hindering performance. I don't see skunk talking too much crap really...he has high goals, and come spring we'll see if he puts up. Thats how most builds work.

I'm really lost here, when have I demanded respect. And if what I've done isn't so special how come every J isn't turbo'd. I don't go demanding that anybody respect me, if they do cool, if not whatever. I do not beleive this community owes me anything. And what exactly have done to garner some respect, I see w.a.i. listed on you profile on what, a Grand Am, and you want to dis on my car. Please dude, stop the trolling. You've gone a lil too far and now you're just making @!#$ up so that you don't seem like a douche.

Steve - You should be able to reuse the gaskets on your ECO. They are the blue silicone type and you should be able to just pull them out of your current valve cover and reinstall them in the new one since they are T shaped and fit in a groove. Thats what I did when I got my valve cover Jet-Hot coated and that was about 2 years ago and I have had no problems at all.

Valve cover is on. Just before it started raining I got the Ignition cover back on. Took it to the gas station to but gas in it, came back and no leaks. I have to say the install would be like 9x easier if I had an aftermarket intake because that big ass box is in the way. So I am gunna order one right now.
