Called my local exhaust shops they want from 500-600 bucks to do a basic catback Mendrel bend exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler/Install a replacement Cat (have already) and wield up a new flange on from the ebay header to the cat. A fellow from one of the exhaust shops said I could go 2 1/4 and forget the 2" mendrel bend exhaust and be fine but he wasn't going to move on the price to do it...I've looked into the pacesetter catback but have doubts about it. What are your recommendations?

If you're not boosted, you're not going to lose much from the compression bends of 2.25. The price sounds right.

Here is what my full exhaust system cost. $600 for a catback with compression bends... lol and walk away.

Pacesetter header $250 (coated) (I got mine for far less, but this is the average price)
Custom 2.5" downpipe - $20
Stainless 2.5" Flex pipe - $20
Magnaflow 91036 2.5" catalytic converter - $70
Magnaflow 10346 2.5" resonator - $70
Custom tubes 2.5" mandrel bent catback - $150
Dynomax 289-17733 Super Turbo 2.5" Muffler - $50

Install was $80 at a local shop (header was already installed prior)

You could weld up a header back system for about 450 lol slip fit and they can come out nice. I have done a few.

if you weren't so far away, id say you could buy mine. I paid $600 for mine but its all mandrel bent stainless as well. But that just seems too far to ship it. Hell im only asking $250 for my turbo back...
