was working on the cavy yesterday and noticed when i first start it up their is a little water coming out of the exhaust till it warms up then stops......my thoughts are possibly a bad head gasket but wanted other thoughts. my motor is bored .20 over and im currently using a Cometic 2.2L L61 Ecotec 87mm Head Gasket. any help would be greatly appreciated as im about to pull both the tranny and motor soon anywas

water is normal coming out of the exhaust. is your coolant level dropping? smell sweet when exhaust is coming out? Exhaust white?

That sounds completely normal. If the head gasket was bad you would see smoke, raw coolant would never come out, it would be vaporized first.

^^Yep like said above. Seems normal unless your seeing smoke, smelling something sweet, or noticing your coolant is magically disappearing lol

I saw a eco dump coolant out of the exhaust. Yes raw coolant. It melted a hole from the chamber to the cooling passage on #1 towards the timing chain. It about emptied the car of coolant in like 10 seconds

But jacool sounds like what you have is condensation.
