If you look under the pass headlight there is the computer down there. Our tank will just be a round tube like others but will have a bracket to attach to the car at that particular location.

I've had my bumpers off who knows how many times and I've never noticed a computer anywhere up front. Pic ?

95-99 have the ecu in that vicinity. 00+ moved to the strut tower.

Here is what we came up with. Its filled with steel mesh and has a drain on the bottom for drainage. Also has a baffle inside. Pretty simple yet effective. $69.99 for these. I need 5 people min. Welds will be nicer as well, this is just a mock up

There is a drain in the bottom. I can shoot a pic of the bottom. Built, why the dislike? Anything you see that could be changed?

I did the cheapo Catch can in my car, with a stainless steel water bottle, some fittings from lowes and hoses, hooked everything up for less then $10, I had one in my cav for a while, when I was planning on turbo-ing it, till I sold it. No pics of it, but I had it right in the back corner.

But, looks good and:

For $50 I can have a matching one to the oil one i have.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CUSCO-Oil-Catch-Tank-Can-240SX-DSM-STI-TURBO-CIVIC-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ350359581400QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

it looks wide compared to tall, where im wanting to mount mine it would need to be taller than fat. the Cusco one has a piece of tubing to use as a viewing level window. so the inability to know how full it is, is not good for me.

I'm very interested, but I think I will mount mine in a different location.

About how big is it? Looks about as tal as a Soda can, but bigger around? Trying to figure out how much it would hold.

Also based off the way you designed it, does it matter which port is the inlet and which is the vacuum source?

John, nope as far as the ports. You need to come and check out the shop to man,

Built, I gotcha. Be careful of parts on ebay. Most of the time they are made in china and the quality is not there.

$69 just seems like a bit much for something that has such a simple function. $50-60 sounds like more of a fair price to me and i already found some "quality" catch cans on the jegs website already powdercoated for less than yours. Clicky Dont get me wrong, im all for supporting our vendors that make us custom parts but you gotta be a lil competitive too.

Yes but you have to mount it where you can fit it. Mine will fit in a factory hole and for $10-20 more some people like the fact that its bolt on.

I agree I like the fact that its bolt on, but not realy liking the mounting point. That does seem to be the best though since soo many jbody bays are setup differently. I love some of the ones Ive seen for subarus and srt4's and what not..actualy have some shape and dimensions to them to fit in nice spots. These just kinda give off a "universal" vibe and thats why many are comparing them to other catch cans.

I like my can though and only paid like $65 I blieve. Noce big bilter on top, two 3/8 threaded ports,a petcock drain on bottom, and when I look inside I cant see the bottom lol.
