well they tested my block today stopped after the first cylinder and called me. I only have .109 left on the cylinder walls. they want there to be at least .100 after the bore so I guess this block is pretty much scrap metal.

Is that @ .120 over?

no that was at .040 over

What intake manifold are you going to run? I don't know of anyone who makes a manifold with NA power in mind.

I found this website and have been thinking about making my own instead of using/modifying a HO manifold. Anyone make intake flanges for the LD9? I got a friend at work who can do all the welding for me, I just need to get the materials and figure out a design that will maximize NA performance.

Idk if there are pics but it was basically an equal header on the intake side with a merge collector.

It depends on what you want out of the car, 12's turboed would still be reasonably streetable, and you could run around out of boost all day. 12's all motor is impressive, but all the car could do was get towed to the track, makes some runs, and get towed home.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

LOL paul is going to prove that incorrect this summer, tim.

all pauls car needs to be streetable is a carpet, back seat, and street tires. thats it.

It is daily driving though...

paul daily drove the car for over a year with no power steering.

it does suck (and it'd be easy as hell to put PS on the damn thing). lol but paul for some reason just doesnt want to tear the motor down to give me the cam to modify.

he also put on a larger lumina z34 steering wheel, it helps out.
