The new ones look great... Once I'm finished building my exhaust manifold I may just have to pick one up to finish the engine bay

Hopefully they're still for sale this summer.

So we still would have to purchase fittings if we wanted to use our factory hoses?

Here are some clearer pictures, sorry for the delay at posting them.... you can see the one piece top now being used, slightly smaller dimensions all around and cleaner edges, the first one was a little rough as we didnt have the design 100% final. Enjoy! Anyone who has ordered one thus far, they have all been shipped out already. If there are ANY issues with fitment or anything email us right away. There shouldnt be any problems but you never know.
Nice.....I can't wait to see mine

I think you guys should sand the welds, cause I think it looks tacky to have something with the weld waves on it. Its all bumpy and raised. I dont think the reservoir is under any pressure, so you wont lost any rigidity by smoothing things out.
If I made something that was supposed to be a professional and overall better replacement for something, I'd make it look as good as possible. I like everything else though, good job.
Yes it is.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
^^ He is correct, the reservoir is under 16psi of pressure.

the tank is most definitely under pressure.. ever opened the cap when the system is hot? ever seen the DO NOT OPEN WHEN HOT! label?
try it. see what happens....
alright, nevermind, chew my ass for being wrong oh well.
I have a insane idea though.
For those who want either more room in the bay, or a stealth look. You guys should look into making the reservoir having two sections. With one section holding the coolant, and the other holding alcohol for meth injection.
Huh whatcha think?
Yay, lets heat up our methanol mix to 150* +/- and inject it into our engine....
then put a void inbetween sections, fill it with a buffer, and line the meth side with something to keep the heat out. It wouldnt be that hard I dont think, and it would clean the engine bay up.
any one install one on there car yet?
I thought Vulcan was going to do it.

None installed yet, we are changing the full size tank design slightly to aid in fitment.
so if i get the mini with the coolant level, it will read correctly? Also does it come with the cap or are we using the factory one? I'm currently debating a mini one in black.
It will read correctly, and the cap is the only thing not included.
Wow that looks awesome, anyone got pics of the smaller one I love how the stock sized one looks but with my charge pipe running through there I'm worried If it'll fit because my stock one is pushed up against the pipe
Its all scratched and got smudges on it, it looks like crap.
its uncoated..what did you expect it to look like ?
I'd say I would expect it to look a little better, but I know how much time has already gone into it. so Ill just say nothing.
^^ still have to buy fittings for the hoses though.
Let us know what all sizes you end up getting J.

The fittings are no big deal. Less than $5 for two 1/4" NPT to nipple fittings at a local hardware store.
I plan on getting two 1/4" NPT to -6an fittings to screw into the coolant tank. I haven't picked the other fittings or adapters yet until I determine where the new lines are going to go

They all include fittings now, and yes the uncoated ones are not the prettiest things on earth, basically just raw aluminum, they do get scratched and such during sheering and welding, the uncoated versions are for those wanting to polish it themselves. The coated versions cover up all the surface imperfections.
Also the newest design now has the front side of the tank cut at an angle to help fitment around the fender wall where it curves.
