LOL, No, the only one we have is on my car... If you want, PM Speedracer, as the one he has is on his intake... On my car.
You can use a 2.4 bracket, if you drill your TB wheel.

there is a guy in the mid-central forum with a thread asking if anyone needs parts of a 95 2.3 Z, you could definitely try to get in there and see if he would grab the bracket and cable for you.
i already asked, but i do not
need it yet.
chris.. can you still get one from GM?

In the end, we're all just chalk lines on the concrete.. drawn only to be washed away.
I bought a few of the '95 2.3 T/B Brackets back in the day, still have a couple left. They where hard to get a hold of then, not sure about now.
PM me if you need one, I'll see if I can dig one up (just had one out the other day, not sure where I put it though

)

Re: w41 cams in a 2.4
Also, and here is my train of thought behind this... IF you go through all the work swapping ECM's THE LAST thing someone is worried about is "expensive Tuning Software".......
TUNER PRO**** Its FREE... the hard wear will cost.. Ohh IDN. less then 500 bucks. (same price as using HPT.)
AND NO, ONCE more a "W41" chip will not work in side of a 2.3 J-body ECM..... so what you are talking about is doing What exactly?
Oh, and other then a few drive ability issues, Brian has gotten the W41 inside the 98 with OBD-2 to run Great........

Dale, under heavy load, when turning hard, 2.4 cams are known (to GM, I looked it up on SI) to crack, or the hex drive can spin free of the cam its self.
(kinda like the SHO cams.)
Chris
^New information to me.
But it always made more since to me to mod-up the 2.3l PS pump ONCE and run all 2.3l intake setup and then swap in any 2.3l intake cam without modifications anyway.....to each his own I guess.
<table>hello</table>
with w41 cams. logic says you should use a 086 or 753 head.
its looks like their are 2 variations of melling cams the 93 olds you can order from the autozone website, ones with an A vin or a D vin. Im assuming the w41 is the A vin since it was in 3% of cars that year. both are $102 a piece, intake and exhaust.
"sometimes the respect is more important..."
Vin "A" are both LG0's some LG0 cars just happened to have option RPO code "W41"
so, in essence, there should be 3 cam choices....

Is there a spot in the vin that will tell if it is a w41. And also what is the lift and duration, I will call melling from work tomorrow and see which ones are right
"sometimes the respect is more important..."
thank you sir, I will see what I can dig up tomorrow
"sometimes the respect is more important..."
HO's are only 6* less duration.
No. you must look at the RPO list inside the glove box of a car to see if it has option "W41".

I will just get ahold of melling and see what the specs are on the couple part numbers I found.
"sometimes the respect is more important..."
Melling could not confirm the specs on the cams that I got part numbers for so the guy was suppose to call me back today but never did so I will give him a call back tomorrow and let you guys know what he found out.

Blwn LD9 no not yet, I was trying to refi my house but with the economy what it is, that fell thru and with the holiday's it'll most likely be tax time before I can get it done. The good news is that my 2.3/2.4 turbo hybrid engine will be done about the same time.
how much is it to mod an intake tower?

Are you scared of the changes coming? The answer is on the inside.
I was quoted $50 per hour for the labor but the delay for me is I need to pull the engine out of the car so I can get the cam towers off so I can send them off to have the work done.
any idea on a time frame or a total cost?
i have like 6 sets of towers i can send out...
