Count me in, though I need to work out my other commitment with Vulcan as well

Also, would I be able to have -6an fittings welded on instead of nipple fitting???

1. Section8cav
2. Baggednine7
3. Datwhitecavy
4. JokerakaShowoff03ls - uncoated
5. Black01Z24
6. Mr.Choo-Black
7. BlwnLd9 - unpainted

i would be interested but i am boosted and that looks like it would be a pain in the but to change the belt

Sure i could add in the -6AN fittings for you, might run like $5-$10 more to get those over the nipples. No biggy.

As for the belt issue, no worries there, im gonna be keeping it in a near stock location. Ill ensure that it doesn't interfere with important things and allows for room to run a charge pipe.

I like these ideas!

Also agree that if you're not interested over the generic sensor, well then you're simply not interested.

Me being so concentrated on the reservoir itsself, I forgot about the fittings lol. So how are we going to attach the stock lower radiator hose to the Aluminum Reservoir?

just a thought here..since the part is pretty cheap...how hard would it be to simly make a hole and install one of these ??

seems like its simple enough to wire into our harness..just gotta install it into the side of the new tank..or under depending on which sensor you get.....
Vulcan what do you think? would this be easier than trying to use the stock one?

^^I wonder if they make other ones, those are good for a max of 180 degrees it says.

That would work, and all the hoses will be connected to aluminum tubes attached to the tank. From factory they are all just clamped onto plastic barbs... Easy enough to copy. And that sensor looks like it would work. Just drill the proper size hole in the bottom the reservoir and stick that right in. Not sure if it will hold up to the pressure tho.

At the moment I think I only want the 2 lines at the top of the reservoir to be -6an fittings. The rest of the fittings can be the same as stock for me

We should have a tester made up in about a week at most, depends on when materials come in.

Anyone have a picture of the coolant reservoir area with the reservoir removed? Just want to pick out the best size/shape to make it for piping fitment. Thanks!!! Materials came in today, should probably have a prototype made up by the end of the weekend for ya guys!

That's the best picture I have, sorry for the pipe in the way.

Hmm, did you cut that hole out for the piping? Im thinking of making something very simple like a box that takes up the size of the smaller longer portion of the coolant res and then deletes that large bulky end of it thats closer to front of the car, its design would be a lot simpler and could drop the price down a lot.

mmkay looks like you guys put the hole there on your own.... ill offer two styles of reservoir. One smaller one, one normal size.

I havent looked at the whole thread, so Im not sure if this has been said already. But with the level sensor not plugged in, the light on the dash will be off, not on, so if you are worried about the light, dont be
If I was keeping my bottle in that location, I would be all over this, but Im not.

Alright well here we go guys!!!

First off, there will TWO different designs for sale here now... There will be what is pictured above which is the Full reservoir tank. THEN we also have a "mini" style, which is identical to above, except the large end is not there, and the 3/4" tube will be moved.

Second, The reservoir pictured does not have the mounts on it yet, it will use the OEM mounts including the backside clip, the bottom round hole that uses the rubber ring, and the bolt down point on the front. The mini version will have a different style front bolt down that will require a hole drilled and a bolt ran through it. Also the filler necks have not come in yet so its just made without it for now.

These will be available in black, white, silver, gunmetal and uncoated. Powdercoating does not cost extra.

The fittings on the tank include ONE 3/4" tube at the bottom which fits your factory line. The two upper fittings are 1/4" NPT threaded holes. They can support AN fittings or barb fittings (for OEM tube use).

Prices are as follows:
Full Size: $185 Shipped
Mini: $135 Shipped

We are accepting orders now.... PLEASE follow instructions fully for ordering:

For paypal payments, send to Vulcan.turbo@hotmail.com

In your payment NOTES: Please put the following:

Buyer Name:
Address:
JBO Screen Name:
Color Desired: Black, Silver, White, or Uncoated
Design: Full or Mini
Price: $185/full $135/mini

That is all! Thanks guys!!!! Any questions email us or shoot me a message here on the org.

Wow, talk about fast work.

I would like to see the mini size version when you can. That stock size version looks bigger than stock and whats what im trying to stay away from.

I love it though man, great work. A+ for you and your company.

The alum is about identical size to the OEM, It does appear slightly larger due to the fact that its not as rounded. The mini is the exact same as the one pictured minus the large end of it. Its basically a box with dimensions 3.75x3.75x9" Then adds in the mounts, fill neck, and NPT fittings. I think these will look soooooo much better in black or gunmetal, that way they wont stick out as much in the engine bay and kind of just hide in the side and wont pull your attention from the engine.

Oh ok, yea I think im interested in the smaller version. I can't wait to see a pic of it though. If you have time for that. Im also undecided on gunmetal, or just polishing mine up.
