What is everyones thoughts on using this for a resonator. My logic is that it's got a larger body than your typical resonator would so it should absorb more sound. Just seeing if anyone else has used this or not
Magnaflow muffler

It's a good resonator, however I am using the 22" res from Magnaflow...
i would still go with a maroso spiral flow muffler or a vibrant resonator.
i love magnaflow. but very over priced.
100bucks for a res is too much in my book.
just my opinion.
if you have the dough, then go for it.
I found it on ebay for around $60ish that was why I was asking about it

Did you still retain the stock flange where the cat mounts to the catback?

and No..i dont have a cat so no flange..i had it welded up behind the flex pipe behind my header..but if it worked for the other scott i dont see why it wouldnt for you....as far as muffler im using something similar to scott as well...oval magnaflow..only i think mines longer than that......but if his sounds ANYTHING like mine im sure hes happy with it....and im sure you would to...
i am quite content with my exhaust and when i installed my ram air intake, it made it sound a lil bit better (as in throaty and a tad louder) but maybe I am just imaging. Nonetheless, us scott's have got it made haha
yea..that looks like my muffler
