Hey, I read in the performace FAQ that the RK sport header wasnt a good choice. Any body have any other points about this or expseriance with it? Also what about the RK Sport dual exaust? Just looking for a review before I drop some serious cash on somthing like that. If any body has any suggestions on a differnt header or exaust that worked well, let me know. I have a 00' Sunfire with the 2.4 engine. Thanks!
dont get the duals if youre doing a header....sounds like crap.....even with a resonator
The fittment of the RKsport dual exhaust sucks ass hard core. I got it and had to end up getting the whole thing re-piped. Go Thermal research or I have heard that people here on the .ORG like the OBX or what ever the mock APC company's name is. Personally i would just find an exhaust shop and have them custome bend and weld you an exhaust. better sounding, smoother flowing and you can actually complain when the hangers have so much tension in them you could cut the rubber with a butter knife with ease.
RKSport in my opion dropped the ball on the J-body platform.
You could actually get the Ecotec Vibrant catback system.
Operatines well, is 304 stainless.
Even if it requires mounting adjustments, take it to a shop and they can make it work good.
Custom Tubes Inc makes a catback.
Just piping no muffler.
Stainless or aluminized steel.
Otherwise like folks say, just have one fabed up at your local exhaust shop.
